Accounts

Payments can be made by cash, credit card (surcharge applies); American Express, Diners Club, MarterCard and Visa.

** If you are settling your account with a credit card, please note a credit card transaction fee will apply. Current fee is 0.9% for Visa/MasterCard and 3.5% for AMEX/Diners. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract transaction fees.

Note: these rates are subject to change without prior notice. Company charges or cheque payments will only be accepted by prior arrangement.


Adaptors

The power points in your room operate on 240 volts (AC 50 cycles).

Adaptors are available for hire from Reception.


Baby Facilities

Baby cots and high chairs are available for hire. Please contact Reception for details.


Business Services

For a small cost a complete range of business services is available including courier and mail services, photocopying and facsimile. Please contact Reception for more information.


Car Parking

Undercover car parking is available for guests with access via North Quay. Park Regis accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles parked in this facility. Please note that car parking is subject to availability only and comes at an additional cost. 1.9m height restrictions apply to car park.


Check Out Time

We ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 am on the day of departure. Should you wish to stay a little longer, please contact Reception and every effort will be made to assist you. Late checkout charges may apply.


Dry Cleaning

A valet dry cleaning and laundry service is available Monday-Friday. Please drop off your laundry at Reception before 8am for same day service. Your garments will be available for collection from Reception at approximately 6:00pm. Contact Reception should you require weekend or public holiday service.


Facsimile & Photocopying Services

A facsimile service is available at Reception. Charges are summarized below:

    $2.50 first page & $1.00 every page thereafter
  • International
    $4.50 first page & $1.00 for every page thereafter
  • Incoming Faxes
    $6.50 first page & $1.00 for every page thereafter
  • Photocopying
    $0.50 per page

Garbage Disposal

For your convenience, there is a rubbish room/garbage chute located on each level, just outside the 01 unit. Please refrain from disposing of glass items in the garbage chute. These can be left either on the floor of the garbage disposal area or in your apartment for collection.


Guest Laundry

For your convenience, there is a guest laundry located on Basement level 1. Change for the machines and laundry powder is available from Reception.


Gymnasium

Park Regis North Quay features an onsite gym on the ground level of the hotel. The gym is equipped with a range of equipment and is available for your use 24 hours a day.


Keys

Please remember to take your room key with you at all times and ensure you lock all doors when leaving your apartment for security purposes.


Luggage Storage

We will be happy to assist you with baggage storage (subject to availability), please contact Reception.


Maintenance

Please contact Reception should there be any items requiring our attention.


Housekeeping

Should you have any special room servicing requirements, such as a nominated time for servicing your apartment or for additional items, please contact Reception.


Reception Hours

Reception is open 7am – 9pm.


Smoking

Government legislation restricts you from smoking within the foyer and other common areas of the hotel. Smoking is also prohibited in all of our hotel rooms, which are all fitted with individual smoke detectors which will trigger a fire alarm.

In the event of a fire alarm, the fire department can determine the individual unit which caused the alarm. The QLD Fire and Emergency Service will pass on a fine / penalty of $1,350 for all smoke related fire alarms. The hotel will also pass on a $300 cleaning fee where evidence of smoking is found within the room.

A designated smoking area is located on May Street, please see reception for directions if required.


Messages

Phone messages are taken by Reception and left under your door.


Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is located on level 2 and is accessible between the hours of 6:30am and 9:00pm daily. Strictly no glass is to be taken into the pool area. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.


Tour Bookings

For information on a wide range of activities in this area, please contact Reception who will be happy to organise all your tour bookings for you.


Vending Machine

For your convenience, a vending machine is located at the rear entrance of the hotel providing cold drinks and snacks.

Air Conditioning

All apartments are fitted with individual climate-controlled air conditioners which can be adjusted on the control panel provided. Should you require assistance please contact Reception.


Alarm Clock

An alarm clock is available on the bedside table for your convenience


Breakages & Damages

All apartments are fully equipped with a standard inventory. Please report any breakages, missing items or damaged property on arrival. The cost of replacement or repair of any items broken or damaged is the responsibility of the guest and non-reported items will be on-charged after departure.


Data Ports

All apartments and hotel rooms are equipped with a data port for your convenience. The socket is located on the right hand side of your telephone handset. Dial 0 for an external line.

Do Not Disturb

Please place your “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of your apartment door to ensure your privacy is upheld. Please note: Your room will not be serviced when this in place.

Kitchen Facilities

Each self-contained apartment offers a comprehensive kitchen facility. Whilst the operation of the appliance is fairly self-explanatory, please contact Reception should you experience any difficulties.

**Please always use your range hood when cooking**

To use the range hood, gently pull out the exhaust fan unit, and ensure you adjust the light and fan settings on the right-hand side to suit your needs. Please note: a min of $1350 fee by QLD Fire and Emergency Services will be applicable for misuse of cooking facilities resulting in the activation of the hotel fire alarm.


Tea & Coffee Facilities

All apartments are provided with tea and coffee making facilities. To purchase additional supplies, please contact Reception.


Telephone

Each apartment is fitted with a direct dial telephone. All external calls are automatically recorded on our call accounting system, calls are charged at the following rates:

    $0.49 for unlimited talk time (metropolitan only)
  • STD:
    $0.49 for connection and $0.49 per minute (within Australia)
  • Local:
    $2.50 for connection and $0.80 per pulse thereafter (International calls)
  • Mobile:

Reception is open from 7 am to 9 pm. Should you require urgent assistance at any stage please contact Reception.

In the event of an emergency, noise complaint, or if you have a serious issue within your room, we do have an onsite caretaker who is available to assist outside of reception hours. The onsite caretaker can be contacted via reception outside of hours by dialing #9

Fire

This property is fitted with an advanced fire protection system which includes a fire alarm. In case of fire, please follow procedures outlines below:

  1. If the fire alarm or automatic evacuation system sounds, please make your way to the nearest fire exit, please
    do not run and do not use the elevators.
  2. Do not telephone Reception as we may need the lines for Emergency Calls. It is illegal for anyone other than
    the Fire Brigade to tell you whether it is a false alarm.
  3. Assembly point is located in May Street at the rear of the premises.
  4. Do not re-enter the building unless you are advised to do so by the Fire Brigade or Hotel Staff

Fire Evacuation

A fire evacuation plan is located on the back of your apartment door; please ensure you have familiarised yourself with the nearest fire exit.

IN CASE OF FIRE – DO NOT USE LIFTS.
